Giving
Contributions to the Cambridge Community Foundation of any size are welcomed. Your gift can be used immediately to support community needs or it can create a permanent legacy fund for both current and future generations. Donations can be made by giving cash, stocks and bonds, insurance benefits, real estate, in-kind gifts or private foundation assets. Income from particular properties such as bonds, securities, or certificates of deposit can be assigned to purposes of the Foundation.
The Cambridge Community Foundation is happy to work with you and your attorney, trust officer, accountant or other financial advisor to discuss ways to make gifts (large or small) to the Foundation. We offer personal attention and in-depth knowledge of Cambridge to help you make your philanthropy as effective and fulfilling as possible.
Contributions can be used to establish a named fund, make a planned gift, or contribute to the Foundation’s annual appeal, which gives every Cantabrigian an opportunity to contribute to strengthening and sustaining Cambridge. The Foundation invites you to learn more about ways to give:
Please contact Bob Hurlbut, Executive Director, or Kathy Fitzgerald, Director of Development and Strategic Initiatives, or call them at 617-576-9966 to receive additional information about the Foundation and specific ways to contribute that will best meet your personal charitable goals.
